See inside the infamous 13-bedroom, 12-bathroom home
Developer Thomas Kramer’s personal effects went to auction in January, and now, his former sprawling Star Island estate is for sale for a whopping $40 million. This property is one of the largest real estate sites on Miami Beach: it’s spread over two lots on 4 and 5 Star Island Drive. Buyers can purchase both lots or each can be purchased separately. Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent.
Inside the estate, which was once Kramer’s home base for hosting notorious parties, buyers will find 17,000 square feet of living space with 13 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. There’s a 10,000-bottle wine cellar, a pool and spa, gym, multiple guest houses, and enough garages to park up to 14 cars.
There’s also very quirky decor, in the form of a dining table adorned with what look like stripper poles and more ceiling murals than the Sistine Chapel. Take it all in these photos, and notice how some of the items from the auction pop up, like that rhino statue.
